Chalet Mont des Anges is a brand new luxurious self-catered chalet in Morzine designed and fitted to the highest specification. The chalet is between Morzine and Montriond, perched on the the slope of the Dereches Valley.
It covers 3 floors and feels spacious and light, and with nothing but the fields and forests in front, there is a perfect view to the peak of the Roc D’Enfer.
The chalet is built to the highest specification with handmade kitchen and bespoke furniture. The lower floor has the spa area with a sauna, shower room and direct access to the hot tub on the terrace. A utility room with laundry facilities is also on this lower floor. There is a boot room with boot warmers and ski racks.
There is wifi in all rooms and the bedrooms include USB ports next to the beds. The TVs in the movie room and living room have Sky channels and French TV. You can access Apple TV and Netflix with your own log ons and there is a powerful SONOS music system in the living room and on the terrace.
The huge open plan living area has a vaulted ceiling and full floor to ceiling windows take in the astonishing view and south facing aspect.
Returning from a hard day on the mountain you can unwind in the hot tub, relax in the sauna or watch a movie (or drink wine!)
The chalet is in a quiet location and just a few mins walk from the free ski bus in either direction for Super Morzine, Plenty or the Ardent telecabine. The bus will take you into Morzine centre in 5 minutes where you can alight at the Pleney lift or at the Super Morzine lift. It is 20 mins walk to the Super Morzine lift and Morzine village.
Again, just a few minutes walk away is the bus stop to the Ardent telecabine which gives you access straight into the heart of the Portes du Soleil. At Ardent you will find the most popular apres bar “Happy Hours” along with another friendly bar and ski hire shops. The easy access and apres are why this is the locals favourite lift.

Morzine is a pretty alpine town situated close to the border with Switzerland, linked to neighbouring Avoriaz (very cool resort!) & Les Gets and the enormous Portes du Soleil ski area.
The Portes du Soleil region vies for the title of ‘largest ski area in Europe’, with 212 interconnected lifts servicing a mind-boggling 650kms of runs sprawling across 12 areas, eight in France and six in Switzerland. There are 273 marked ski runs as well as 216 km of cross-country trails. The Portes du Soleil region therefore offers a variety of skiing terrain to suit all abilities.
Morzine sits in the Haute Savoie region of France just over an hour from Geneva airport, making it one of the easiest resorts to reach from the UK, in around an hour.
